On February 4, 2026, the “Korea–Japan Life Insurance Sustainability Seminar” was held at The Plaza Seoul in Seoul, featuring presentations on the long-term care business in the insurance industry and sustainable insurance. The opening ceremony was attended by key figures including representatives from KLIA, FALIA, and a former Prime Minister of Korea, who emphasized the importance of Japan–Korea cooperation in the life insurance sector.
In the first session, Kazuhiro Saito of SOMPO Care Inc. introduced the current state of Japan’s long-term care business. The second session featured a lecture by Masayuki Tanaka of FALIA, followed by a panel discussion with panelists from Samsung Life, KIRI, and UNEP.
After the seminar, a reunion for FALIA seminar alumni was held, further strengthening the bonds among participants.
