On March 24, 2026, we visited Neo Insurance and Apex Insurance in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. At the Apex Insurance facility, we held a seminar titled “Corporate Governance and Sustainability Management in Insurance Companies” for a broad audience, including members of the insurance industry and government officials. Mr. Masayuki Tanaka of FALIA delivered the keynote lecture. Following the seminar, a networking reception was held with Uzbek participants who had previously taken part in seminars conducted in Japan, providing a valuable opportunity to further strengthen relationships among the attendees.
On the following day, March 25, we visited the National Agency for Prospective Projects of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NAPP) and Uzbekinvest Export-Import Insurance for discussions and an exchange of views. We also had a productive luncheon meeting with representatives of Impex Insurance, which helped deepen mutual understanding. In addition, we met with Counselor Nakamura of the Embassy of Japan in Uzbekistan, where we were able to exchange useful information.
