FALIA aims for enlightenment and dissemination of sound insurance philosophy through education, guidance and support. It aims to widely contribute to sound development of insurance business around the world. For this reason, we have conducted training globally to improve the literacy of insurance that complements social welfare for 52 years after its establishment, and in 2014 we started an essay contest for international students. Through the pandemic, insurers have also contributed to the promotion of universal health coverage and have greatly increased their role as a part of the social sector. Falia's activities to promote insurance awareness aim to achieve SDGs Goal 3, which ensures the healthy lives of all people and promotes social welfare.
Through many years of training, FALIA has built a cooperative network of horizontal connections between domestic and overseas insurance supervisors and insurance companies. These cross-country, public-private partnerships are also helping to convey information and tacit knowledge among the network members, helping to reach the SDGs Goal 17.
